Real Estate Bargains and

Fixing and
Flipping Property
The phoenix that has risen from the ashes of
the foreclosure disaster is the real estate game of chicken called
fixing and flipping. The idea is to buy a house that needs some
cosmetic alterations for little or nothing then selling it for a
lot. The house can be foreclosed property, property purchased
through an auction, or property that's available because taxes are
owed on it. The savy investor buys the property, then makes the
needed repairs and puts it back on the market selling it for more
than it was purchased for. Creative staging that shows off the
house's best attributes are an important part of the fix and flip
strategy. If the house sells , the investor is able to recoup what
he put in the initial purchase and come away with a profit.
